Clinical EMR Coordinator
Central + Priority Pediatrics is looking for a full-time Clinical EMR Coordinator to join our growing practice. Our team of kid experts provide high quality patient care in a welcoming and family-friendly environment and are seeking a professional individual with exceptional analytical, customer service and Healthcare EMR experience who shares that passion to become a part of our amazing team!
This Clinical EMR Coordinator will support all users in the organization with daily clinic operations, create a patient-centered environment and work in collaboration with other leaders in the organization. This position will also be available for on-site process support and clinical reception training and will serve as a resource for physicians and staff providing excellent customer service. This position requires critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, multi-tasking skills and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Qualified candidates will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, superior customer service, be highly motivated, have a positive attitude and be a team player. Candidates must also be reliable, able to multi-task, have strong computer skills and work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position has multiple duties and responsibilities and is perfect for someone who has great organizational skills, pays attention to detail, and enjoys a busy atmosphere.
In-person, In-clinic. Must be willing to commute between our Woodbury and Roseville clinic locations.
Essential Functions:
- Provide onsite process support to assist users with daily workflow, address questions and issues related to eClinicalWorks (eCW) EHR and resolve process support requests from employees.
- Assess clinic resources and patient flow on a day-to-day basis for efficiency and improvement opportunities.
- Follow protocols for standard troubleshooting and aiding in resolve.
- Interact with other department managers to ensure coordinated clinical efforts.
- Participate in implementation and transition to new modules/upgrades/workflows as needed.
- Work with departments to assist with process improvement, integration, and efficiency.
- Assist with workflow redesign and processes as assigned.
- Assist in helping develop long-range plans involving new products and services.
- Share information and facilitate development of communication systems for staff, physicians and administration.
- Gather and analyze data to aid in quality measures.
Education: Bachelor s Degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
Experience/Knowledge:
- Electronic Medical Record super user or trainer preferred
- Knowledge of the eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic health record system preferred
- Experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of applications within EMR program
- High level knowledge of commonly used software, hardware, and applications
- Knowledge of healthcare practices and workflows
Highly Preferred Skills:
- Creating fillable forms using Adobe Acrobat
- Tenant management for Microsoft 365 for enterprise
- IBM Cognos - Query Studio and Report Studio
- Skilled in computer desktop support
- Data-based reporting
- HIPAA compliance
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with medical and administrative staff and with patients and the public
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex situations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
