The Sr Geospatial Engineering Analyst is responsible for gathering, converting, analyzing, reporting of geographic information systems (GIS) data and guiding the business through spatially driven data decisions. This position will participate in the design and development of the data analytics platform through utilization of standard and emerging GIS tools (including but not limited to CARTO, Mapbox Studio Client, Mapinfo, and Alteryx). The Sr Analyst presents reports on intelligence analysis, research, risk assessments and predictive analysis to inform strategic decisions in targeting customers. This person has a deep understanding of spatially driven analysis to implement routine and ad hoc requirements including but not limited to fixing geometries on spatial files, nearest neighbor analysis, point/poly analysis, design of large spatial datasets, establishing and supporting automation, and development of poly line measurements.
Independently select and extrapolate intelligence and operations production data and present summaries and strategies to senior management in verbal and written forms
Create solutions for spatial data access management of large datasets stored in spatial database; manage database
Support workflow optimization and transformation activities
Develop and maintain spatial data and targets from maps, satellite imagery, elevation modeling and various GIS tools
Process massive volumes of structured and unstructured data into usable and practical information for customers
Ongoing research on pioneering data visualization, methods and applications in the field of Foundation GEOINT production or GIS data science
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Surveying or related field; Advanced degree preferred
4 years of experience in Analytics, GIS, mapping, software development
Software GIS and mapping software experience, language proficiency in python, SQL, and Java
Strong quantitative analysis skills, high proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
Superb communication and presentation skills. Comfortable interacting with and presenting to management, peers and teams across departments. Can translate complex data into straight forward summaries.
Military Experience Military training, skills, experience preferred
GIS certification preferred
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States

Colorado pay range: $86,300.00 - $116,700.00
Washington Pay Range : $92,600.00 - $125,300.00
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
