Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists and hygienists in performing dental procedures and treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care instructions.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist or hygienist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic medical record systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification or training as a dental assistant or dental nurse.
• Basic understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with dental software and electronic medical record systems.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Clinical needs as required by the office

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift and carry dental equipment and supplies as needed.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for performing dental procedures.
