As the Manager, Digital Content Strategy, you will lead the team responsible for the planning and delivery of the digital content experience strategy through execution, and guide the enhancement of the Anthem's CMS platform (Adobe AEM) to ensure adherence to industry best practices and scalability specific to Anthem's digital properties and needs.


We are seeking someone who has expertise in UX digital content strategy and management and has a passion for crafting delightful digital experiences with a strong desire to apply this expertise to customer journey optimization and personalization strategy.


You will help advise and develop our digital content roadmap plus be accountable for its execution.How you will make an impact : + Responsible for overseeing large-scale, complex and wide ranging digital content solutions for high traffic content sites, portals, and marketing.



Provide direction and leadership to digital content strategists and oversight of the content strategy deliverables, i.e.



plan, execute, and optimize content solutions.+ Acts as the enterprise product owner for the solutions assigned; understands product strategy, business goals, end user needs and competitive landscape.



  • Drives content direction and strategy through coaching, counseling, and providing higher level direction of content strategy / content design staff.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.+ Sets the team standards for digital content strategy excellence and identifies training needs for skill building.

  • Supports personalization and segmentation objectives and solutioning.+ Researches / evaluates new digital marketplace concepts / solutions for consumer journey optimization and determine if and how they would best fit into the existing portfolio of services.

  • Works with business partners and foster multidisciplinary collaboration to both create business cases and ensure the deployment of solutions that engage target populations and address current and emerging market needs.


  • Responsible for gathering and assessing market requirements through competitive intelligence and emerging trends, stakeholder and consumer feedback.

  • QualificationsMinimum Requirements : + Requires a BA / BS in related field and Scaled Agile Framework Training and a minimum of 5 years in a web content team management role in complex, regulated industries;


or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences : + Master s degree preferred.



  • Experience with SDLC, and Agile (SAFE) highly preferred.+ Experience managing teams highly preferred.+ Must be comfortable in a client-facing role, speaking publicly to groups, and interacting with leadership.

  • 5-7+ years' experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or comparable enterprise products related to digital content management strongly preferred.

  • Experience in healthcare industry in a direct to consumer (DTC) strongly preferred.+ Comfort working with Jira, Jira Align Tools, and Workfront.

  • Deep passion for understanding consumer behavior, identifying actionable insights, and using these to build customer-centric personalized digital solutions.

  • Experience with Adobe Target, and A / B, and / or digital marketing multivariate testing.+ Thrive in a collaborative environment and define personal success by the efficacy of your team, the regard of your colleagues, and the delight of our customers.
