The provision of excellent customer service to both existing and potential members, as well as guests, is one of the primary responsibilities of a Planet Fitness Member Services Representative.

The fundamental responsibilities that need to be completed and submitted on time are known as required tasks or assignments:

• Extend a cordial greeting to every person who comes to the establishment, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Performing receptionist duties:
• Respond to phone calls in a cordial manner and provide callers with assistance for various inquiries.
• Input new members information into the application.
• Assisting with new member sign-ups is an essential part of growing any community or online platform. Whether you are welcoming new users to your website or social media platform, helping them navigate the registration process, or answering their questions about the sign-up process, your support can make a big difference.
• Take potential members for a tour.
• Help members update their account information.
• As an employee, it is your responsibility to ensure that the concerns of the members are resolved as soon as possible. If you are unable to do so, it is essential to escalate the issue to the Assistant Manager or Manager to resolve it.
• Support in the upkeep and sanitation of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• A candidate with a background in customer service is desired.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Enthusiasm for physical fitness and good health.
• Cultivating a can-do attitude and focusing on solutions rather than problems can make all the difference.
• Promptness and dependability are essential.
• Exhibits exceptional interpersonal skills, proficiently connecting with both co-workers and customers in a positive and professional manner, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
• A capable listener with the ability to empathize deeply, this person is well-equipped to handle a variety of situations requiring problem solving skills.
• Show respect and sensitivity to people from a diverse range of backgrounds by employing diplomacy in all interactions.
• A High School diploma or its equivalent of GED is a mandatory requirement for all candidates.
• It is essential to have turned 18 years or above in order to be eligible.

Physical Demands:

• Perpetual standing and walking required while on the job.
• Consistent conversation in person or on the phone while on duty.
• The job requires you to lift things weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• From time to time, one may be exposed to dangerous chemicals during their work hours.
