Responsibilities:
Our company is seeking individuals to fill Product Development roles for Personal or Commercial Lines, aimed at assisting insurance carriers and MGAs. As a Product Development assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks:
- Engage in each stage of the documentation process, which may comprise of creating, constructing, concluding, and presenting all materials such as applications, tariffs, and regulations.
- Recognize and convey emerging patterns in the insurance market, making recommendations for new products or modifications to existing offerings to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Develop user requirements to offer clear and specific direction to product developers.
- Prepare and submit official documentation to state insurance regulators for the approval of new or existing product forms.
- Develop and deliver clear underwriting guidelines that support efficient and profitable product execution.
- Verify technical specifications, quality control procedures, and accompanying documentation to guarantee precision and desired outcomes.
- Capable of functioning autonomously and collaborating seamlessly as part of a group dynamic.
- Familiarity with ISO or AAIS, Excel and SERFF is considered an advantage.
Qualifications:
- A quarter century's worth of employment history
- A decade of involvement in the Property & Casualty insurance industry
