Compensation: $91/Hour W2
Our client, Bank of America, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead System Architect (LSA) to join their team. As a Lead Pega Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of Pega applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of design, functionality, and efficiency. With a focus on innovation and problem-solving, you will collaborate closely with technical partners and stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge solutions that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key contributor to development initiatives requiring Pega technical expertise, including Pega Application and Case design, Data Model design, Data Migration, User experience design, security, background processing, performance, deployment, and testing.
- Demonstrate expertise in Pega Workflow, Case Management, and Integration, effectively leveraging Agile methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate the delivery of software applications, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
- Engage with technical partners to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions, effectively communicating recommendations through written and verbal discussions.
- Design, develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Drive the design and development of components, leveraging Pega Implementation Architecture expertise to optimize system performance and scalability.
- Utilize strong data analysis skills to inform decision-making and enhance the overall functionality of Pega applications.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and risk management protocols, leveraging prior experience in the banking domain, particularly in compliance and risk areas.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Pega Application and Case design, with proficiency in Data Model design, Data Migration, User experience design, security, background processing, performance, deployment, and testing.
- Additional 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming skills in Java/.NET.
- Certification and/or working experience with Pega PRPC 8.x or greater.
- Strong understanding of key business elements, with prior framework implementation experience in the banking domain preferred.
- Graduate/Undergraduate studies in computer science or related field is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Pega Implementation Architecture, Pega Case Management/Workflow, and Pega Integration.
- Agile experience, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proven track record of providing innovative solutions to complex problems, driving the design and development of high-quality software applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
