In this position you ll build a company-wide vision for how Apple secures its services and infrastructure, including hardening existing infrastructure, collaborating on new security initiatives, and designing new and secure system deployment. This will involve building consensus across all of Apple s security teams, cloud and infra engineering, global networking, and DC teams, from line engineers to the c-suite. This is a hands-on role working very closely with the engineering org, as well as site-reliability engineering, business, finance, and operational teams. You are the thread tying these disparate teams together to deliver end-to-end initiatives that improve the security for iCloud, internal cloud services, and infrastructure. You will lead a team that is involved in all aspects of the project life-cycle, whether it be helping develop functional requirements, getting into the detailed analysis, facilitating proofs-of-concept, or global platform delivery. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,900.00 and $274,900.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
