The role of a Cart Attendant at Lowe's entails assisting customers with their purchases while also loading their items into their vehicles

What You Will Do:

Delivering excellent customer assistance to all customers who visit the store while ensuring their needs are met:

• Interacting with customers in a welcoming, courteous, and knowledgeable manner to assist them with inquiries and concerns.
• The act of retrieving, loading, and refreshing goods.
• Facilitating the Safe Transport of Goods for Customers and Employees.

The responsibility of the Cart Attendant is to help customers load their purchased items while also restocking shelves for the next shoppers. This role involves frequent lifting and movement of merchandise, which is why safety is paramount.

Travel Requirements:

There is no expectation for frequent travel in this position; however, there may be instances where travel is necessary for attending meetings, training sessions, or to assist other stores nearby.

As a team, we have a set of criteria that we consider when evaluating potential candidates:

• The determiner for whether an employee is working full time or part time is based on their schedule, which consists of 39 to 40 hours or up to 25 hours per week respectively. If the store requires more hours, the employee may be asked to work additional shifts.
• Must have flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings on any day of the week.
• Capability to execute various job responsibilities that may involve extended periods of standing, sitting, or any other requisite physical activities.
• The minimum requirement is the capability to raise 25 pounds without help, but lifting more than that is possible, with or without assistance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in computer usage, which involves carrying out tasks such as data input, modification, access, or outputting, was gained over a period of 6 months.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using standard retail technology tools like smartphones and tablets over a period of six months.
• Meeting legal mandates, obtaining necessary licensing and registration in sales-related roles is crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A half-year of experience in retail.
• A Loader position, which typically involves six months of work in a home improvement or hardware retailer, should be filled by someone who has the necessary experience.
• Applicants must have completed 6 months of employment in any department at a Lowe's retail store.
• I have gained 6 months of experience in retail merchandising, which includes various tasks such as Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping.
• Possessing 6 months of experience in any sector for examining, moving, handling, and transferring commodities or substances to or from conveyances.
