Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse range of vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for customers.
  • Utilize Penske's tools and technologies for logging, researching, and completing repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as tire replacement, vehicle lubrication, and electrical system repairs.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and master technicians to learn new skills and receive hands-on coaching.
  • Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair is a plus.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ideally 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort using tools.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
