Checker/Loader

A company in Largo, FL is looking for candidates for a Checker/Loader position. This position requires unloading/loading trucks by hand and pulling orders using pick tickets. The ideal candidate will have: 

• good attention to detail
• great attitude and eager to learn
• OK with lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• forklift experience
• basic math skills
• experience with order pulling using pick tickets

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks
• Consolidate product onto racks
• Pull orders using pick tickets
• Verify inventory is correct
• Load trucks
• Keep a clean work space

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
