An exciting opportunity is open for a Blood Collection Specialist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. The primary responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, performing excellent specimen collections and serving as the company's representative. With continuous growth opportunities available within the company.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $31.45 per Hour

Benefits: All employment opportunities will be offered based on a candidate's competencies and pertinent experience, relevant degrees/certifications, and market research concerning internal compensation. Staff members who are regularly employed for 20 hours or more per week are provided with a complete benefits package, including but not restricted to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(K), ESPP, Paid time off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Commissions, and Company bonus if applicable.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct venipuncture and capillary draws to collect blood from people of all ages
  • Assemble requisite matter for drug screening, paternity testing, or alcohol examination purposes.
  • Ensure timely and precise registration of patient data
  • The procedure for obtaining billing information and receiving payments is an essential component of our daily operations
  • Make sure that all the specimens are appropriately prepared for testing and analyzing
  • Maintain logs for patient and specimen information
  • Provide top-notch service to ensure patient satisfaction
  • As and when needed, the person will have to undertake different administrative and clerical responsibilities
  • Exploring new destinations as required

Job Requirements:

  • The California Department of Health mandates holding a Phlebotomy License or having filed an application for the same for employment purposes
  • Prior work experience drawing blood in a clinical setting
  • Proven record of going above and beyond to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Excellent proficiency in articulating thoughts and ideas both in writing and verbally
  • One of the essential qualities of a successful employee is their ability to perform tasks autonomously or with a team
  • Able to perform duties independently with minimal guidance
  • If eligible, a reliable vehicle and no blemishes on their driving history
  • Capable of adjusting to a demanding schedule, including overtime requirements
  • Proficient in satisfying the requirements of a standardized color blindness test
