Job Summary:

The Machine Operative plays an important role as a backup Finishing Machine Operator, responsible for ensuring efficient and high-quality output in all Finishing equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

• The GED and HiSET exams measure the essential knowledge and skills that a high school graduate should have acquired, thus ensuring a well-rounded education for those who didn't complete high school
• Prior work experience of 6 to 9 months in printing, specifically in the concluding operations, is a must-have
• Established aptitudes in managing, liaising and guiding
• Proven mechanical ability
• Good communication skills also involve active listening, which means being able to focus on what the other person is saying and respond appropriately. This requires paying attention to verbal and nonverbal cues, asking questions when necessary, and staying engaged in the conversation
• The ability to work both productively and within established safety guidelines is necessary for any successful professional
• Stable with reliable attendance
• The job demands that you are ready to work overtime in case of emergencies or deadlines
• Being able to perform tasks rapidly and accurately is considered a vital competency in various lines of work
• Possessing the strength to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs
• Continuous standing required
• This job necessitates constant walking and stooping
• Expected to occasionally sit, crouch, and reach/perform overhead functions in the course of work
• Clear vision and adeptness in handling objects
• One must wear protective shoes and ear muffs

From Monday through Friday, the job hours for this position will be from 3 PM to 11 PM.
