Project Coordinator
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our design team as they facilitate multiple projects thgrough our design and production pipeline. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
· Understand the means, methods, codes, and ordinances related to residential remodeling.
· Communication between our staff, clients, trades and suppliers.
· Must be Proactive with regard to issues.
· Plan well, schedule effectively, and address problems quickly.
· Understand the difference between Urgent and Important.
· Committed to doing quality work the first time, every time.
· Deadline driven, quality conscious, punctual, and respects other people's time.
· Organized and understands the necessity of proper documentation.
· Understand and use delegation with appropriate parties.
Duties:
· Support Project Designer in preparing Specifications prior to signing of contract.
· Help coordinate Budget with Project Designer (potentially getting projects pre-bid prior to signing of contract).
· Must research home details and basic zoning before meeting.
· Meet with Project Manager to go over project details.
· Communicate any substantial plan changes to clients, project manager and interior designer.
· Meet with Project Manager to discuss project and details prior to start.
· Send clients a “Welcome Email” and intro to Co-Construct.
· Always be checking for, and communicate any substantial plan and/or cost changes to clients, PD, PM & ID.
· Create and send RFP’s to trades and suppliers prior to starting construction.
· Create and maintain an "Action List" and present at each Production Meeting.
· Check in with/update clients minimum 1 time a week during pre-construction (permits, selections, site meetings, trade walks, hazardous testing, etc).
· Check in with clients minimum 2 times a month during production process.
· Expedite and track change orders.
· Sign off on trade proposals; verify against cost sheet.
· Audit project with accountant to compare estimate with actual.
· Maintain professional; business appearance & hygiene.
· Return all phone calls within one business day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
