Sureguard leverages a network of top laboratories across the United States to provide faster test results while simultaneously providing facilities with access to cutting-edge laboratory technology and innovative testing that they have never before had access to.

Sureguard takes a proactive approach to partnering with Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Memory Care Units, and Senior Living Communities by instituting programs that keep residents safe while removing resource constraints that facilities commonly face. These programs include Monthly Wellness Screening programs, Laboratory Sample Collection, COVID-19 Testing and Management, Vaccine Management Services, and Admission Screening.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for filling the top of the sales funnel by generating and qualifying leads through targeted outbound prospecting activities. This is an inside sales position and most, if not, all leads will be provided! (Since long-term care facilities are highly regulated, we have been able to pull leads from public databases)

Your primary objective will be to develop a pipeline of qualified leads to hand off to the sales team for further engagement. Training and guidance will be provided, but you will be coming in at the ground-level of a start-up so you will need to be a self-starter and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct targeted outbound prospecting activities (cold-calling, emailing, and social media outreach) to generate new leads.
  • Qualify leads based on the established criteria and set up appointments for the sales team.
  • Manage and prioritize leads in Salesforce to ensure timely follow-up and maximize conversion rates.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive insights.
  • Participate in team meetings to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an SDR or similar sales support role in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent prospecting and cold-calling skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM tool.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing automation tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
