Description:
• Prepares accurate and complete service reports and turns them in on time
• Prepares inspection and appraisal reports
• Cleans, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and component
• Prepares, inspects, and operates machines prior to delivery
• Removes, disassembles, assembles, and installs components and parts
• Orders replacement parts ensuring that parts orders are correct and complete at the time of order
• Services and maintains equipment sold and/or owned by the company
• Tests measures, and adjusts engine and machine systems and components
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots machine and engine malfunctions and failures
• Keeps up to date with developments in tooling, technologies and systems
• Performs maintenance activities on new and rebuilt/repaired equipment
• Makes recommendations as to repairs meeting warranty criteria
• Makes parts replacement decisions assuring optimum economic reusability
• Preventative and repair of CAT heavy equipment, mostly D10, 793, and 777

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to read and comprehend sophisticated wiring diagrams
- 5-6 years or more of professional mechanic experience is required
- Preferably heavy equipment & CAT experience and even more preferred is experience in a mine site setting working on 777 and 793 haul trucks
Pay : $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr, with a $3.00/hr shift differential after training is completed as well as a 10% differential when working nights
Shift : 12 hour shift (5 days on, 5 days off, 4 days night, 5 days off)
