The Opportunity: Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting and optimizing Workday through troubleshooting, analysis, researching new functionality and implementing system solutions to support the strategic direction of Human Resources in partnership with the business
  • Assists in providing advice, guidance, support, and solutions to users in the utilization of Workday
  • Partners with departments to identify and document HR system related project requirements and scope, while making recommendations to optimization opportunities
  • Updates and maintains business processes, condition rules, grid configuration, templates and other functionality
  • Develops custom reports using supported tools
  • Proactively develops audit reports to help key users to audit and maintain data integrity
  • Provides customer support, in collaboration with the MyHR team to support questions about Workday
  • Uses available online community resources and works with vendors to trouble shoot system errors
  • Assists in the review, testing and implementation of any HR system upgrades
  • Reviews periodic service updates to the various systems, evaluates new feature impact, assesses impact and provides recommendations
  • Act as a lead for cross-functional projects through ongoing requirements gathering, design, test, deployment, and maintenance of Workday configuration for new functionality or enhancements.
  • Document business requirements, decisions, business processes, and workflows in relevant documentation, including SOP's, training guides, quick reference guides
  • Perform complex data uploads into Workday (EIB)
  • Develop test plans and project plans for upgrades/new functionality
  • Develop training documents related to system updates
  • Support cyclical comp and benefits activities including but not limited to open enrollment, rate updates, ACA reporting, bonus payouts, merit review, etc
  • May also support other configuration areas as a secondary responsibility
  • Performs other job-related responsibilities as requested
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of Benefits and Compensation experience in Workday
  • Passionate about technology and motivated to apply the latest innovations to streamline administrative work
  • Proactive and collaborative; a leader with effective communication skills
  • A creative problem solver with the flexibility to navigate uncertainty
  • Ability to analyze data, create management summary reports and make presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them
