We're looking for an amazing Seabourn Hotel Operations (SBN) professional to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle office. You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory and provision operations according to business and compliance needs. Oversees demand forecasting, supply planning, ordering, and inventory control. Works closely with procurement to ensure product requirements are satisfied. Communicates with logistics regarding business needs to secure resources required. Has onboard Inventory responsibilities and establishes/adjusts PAR levels. Here's a summary of what Seabourn is looking for in its Hotel Inventory Controller. Is this you? Responsibilities Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines. Trains team members in all aspects of inventory management and provision operations. Coordinates the operational relationships between the ships, supply chain, and logistics as needed. Develop and implement improvements to existing operating procedures to maximize efficiency. Manages critical inventory audit tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock and the frequency of inventory counts. Analyzes hotel purchasing orders before they are sent to purchasing, makes adjustments based on their research, and provides ship management with an explanation. Monitors onboard usage as well as stock movement (slow/fast-moving items). Manages provisioning the ships in liaison with the storing schedule. Establishes and maintains standards for consistent cost control for all hotel, food, and beverage items. Ensures all orders placed via the supply chain are submitted promptly following the storing schedule and order due dates. Monitors the ships up keeping procedures such as the FIFO system, Public Health, stock control, and stock levels. Liaises the standard item specification list of all approved items by the respective operations department and updates the standard item list as needed (C.T. deactivation of items). Works in coordination with the H.R. department on assignments. Integrate with Finance and Supply Chain to facilitate effective voyage reporting. Fulfills any special duties assigned by Director F&B Operations & Housekeeping Requirements Administration/Accounting, Hospitality, or related field. Experience in supply chain management, preferably operations, warehouse, and/or purchasing leadership. Prior shipboard experience covering skills related to the Controller position is welcome. Solid understanding of Supply Chain and Materials Management Systems. Ability to forge positive relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of management and with all departments Able to work well and communicate effectively with shipboard personnel. Ability to multi-task and handle constantly changing priorities. Leadership, training, and organizational skills demonstrated through experience. Strong communication skills, including written and verbal English communication. Working knowledge of computers and navigating various software programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Proficient in working with Crunch Time, MXP, or similar Inventory Management System Working knowledge of database programs and the ability to work with these types of programs proficiently. Analytical skills and reporting skills are required. Weekend and odd hours may be required based on business needs and ship locations. International travel may be included.
