Qualifications
- A degree in Pharmacy from an accredited academic institution or a Pharmacy Aide degree program.
- State boards of pharmacy within the district enforce regulations governing the practice of pharmacy and issuance of Pharmacy Aide licenses.
- Skillfully performed prescription dispensing tasks, showcasing extensive knowledge of the state and federal controls over dispensing controlled substances.
- Equipped with immunization certification or willingness to achieve certification within 90 days from the date of hire.

- The role of the Pharmacy Aide responsible for the Product Review/Retail Fill Process includes ensuring that prescriptions are filled while adhering to the guidelines set forth in the Good Faith Dispensing policy as well as the relevant state and federal laws pertaining to controlled substances.
- Maintains proficiency in information technology that is associated with pharmacy systems, including clinical documentation, billing, prescription fulfillment, inventory management, training, and point of sale registers, in order to aid both patients and pharmacy staff. Looks for unique and efficient ways to enhance productivity.
- Ensures the correct processing of insurance claims to resolve patient issues and limit payment rejections. Follows up with insurance providers and medical experts and engages in third-party investigation.
- Clarify any misunderstandings about prescribed medications, dosages, and allergy concerns by contacting medical providers and discussing specific prescriptions.
- Provides crucial healthcare services, such as diagnostic testing, vaccination programs and disease management.
- Aiding and fostering the pharmacy manager in comprehending performance indicators including pharmacy financial records, customer satisfaction levels, and execution of guidelines for safeguarding pharmacy assets and monitoring pharmacy inventory levels.
- Cultivates and maintains positive relationships with the local medical community, such as doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers. Engages in various community outreach initiatives to drive pharmacy growth, improve health, and help people attain happier lives through better wellness.
- Conducts digital product reviews that align with the company's commitment to excellence and customer focus.
