Lowe's is hiring for Head Cashier

Essential Functions:

  • Assist customers with self-checkout and provide product recommendations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by following Lowe's policies and procedures.
  • Use cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds.
  • Coach and train associates in departmental duties or sales opportunities.
  • Monitor merchandise entering and leaving the store to prevent theft.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of store and working areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Less than 1 year of experience using a computer.
  • Less than 1 year of experience using common retail technology.
  • 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds.

Preferences:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience as a head cashier.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience working in any department at a Lowe's retail store.
  • 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in any field.
