The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!
Our Corporate Development team is responsible for driving 70% of our Software Solutions (Workcloud) pipeline opportunities for our Zebra Software Sellers. Corporate Development has 3 main functions going into 2024 which are

  • Partnerships and Alliances for our Workcloud partners/prospects that Influence, Management Consulting, Implementation, and Co-Sell software
  • Business Development is a team of Bus Dev Reps driving inbound and outbound lead generation to qualified opportunities with our Zebra Workcloud
  • Inside Sales - New group in 2024 that will be focused on our Workcloud solutions with Partners, Customers and Prospects

Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Maintain and update the CRM system to track customer interactions and opportunities
    • Support in organizing and attending meetings with potential clients with our Sellers.
  • Market Research and Analysis
    • Conduct market research to identify potential partners, customers and market trends.
    • Collaborate with our cross-functional teams, including our Corporate Development team, marketing, sellers, product teams and customer success team to achieve and align our KPI's for our Corporate Development team
  • Lead Generation with our Business Development Function and Partner teams
    • Assist in developing and implementing lead generation strategies
    • Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including online research and outreach
  • Customer and Partner Heat Maps
    • Assist with identifying Zebra customers with our products and services
    • Generate Partner Attachment to active opportunities and document in CRM Project Plans
  • Professional Development
    • Work with all three Corporate Development leaders learning each of the functions (Partners, IS and Bus Dev)
    • Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
  • Increase technology knowledge and skills
  • Develop team-based work proficiencies
  • Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program with a major in Business, Marketing or a related field
  • Must have an anticipated undergraduate graduation date between 2024 and 2025 OR in an MBA program with a graduation date between 2024 and 2026
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship

  • Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team
  • Experience with MS Office PPT, Excel and CRM (capable of learning)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Exceptional research and analytical abilities
  • Basic understanding of software industry concepts and technologies is a plus
  • Exceptional Critical Thinking and Creative Thinking
  • Work with multiple teams within the organization and customer base (High Emotional IQ)
  • Languages desirable and flexibility to work on a global basis, not required but a plus

Salary USD 19.50 - USD 42.55 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
