Technical WriterTemporary Position**Position Summary**We are looking for an experienced technical content writer to join our team working with our client based in Austin, TX. This is a temporary position and is expected to serve 3 to 6 months.**What You Will Do**+ Perform updates of simple to moderate complexity to procedural articles as assigned by partner team at a large global tech company, ensuring that assignments are completed on time and in accordance with quality guidelines.+ Write clear, simple content that adheres to partner company and departmental standards and guidelines.+ Ensure that content is technically accurate and uses appropriate tone, voice, grammar, formatting, punctuation, spelling, and messaging.+ Collaborate closely with strategists, designers, and editors.+ Give constructive feedback to your peers and review your own work with others.+ Incorporate last-minute changes into already-delivered copy.+ Review and sign-off on deliverables prior to publishing.+ Collaborate openly and effectively with team leadership to manage content assignments and communicate status proactively.+ Assist with training of new team members.+ Assist with User Acceptance Testing for new tools or features.+ Track time spent on assignments and report to team leadership.**To Be Successful You Will Have**+ Excellent writing skills: ability to ensure accurate and consistent tone, clarity, structure, and mechanics of content+ Experience optimizing written content for localization/ translation+ Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment+ Proven track record working independently and with a team+ Experience working with style guides and an understanding of readability measurement methods preferred+ Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other content management system preferred**In Return You Can Expect**+ Outline the opportunity to learn, grow, have an impact.+ Work for a big tech company+ Annualized salary $75,000 to $80,000 per year**About Us**Lionbridge enables more than 800 world-leading brands to increase international market share, speed adoption of products and effectively engage their customers in local markets worldwide.
