What You'll Do on the Job:

  • Checks all material received via Motor Freight Carriers, UPS/FedEx or customer returns.
  • Pulls orders for shipment from warehouse and pipe yard inventory utilizing RF gun and forklift equipment.
  • Stages and prepares orders for shipment while ensuring the items are packaged neatly.
  • Completes all shipping paperwork promptly monitoring closely for any errors or quality discrepancies.
  • Loads & Secures orders onto Eastern vehicles.
  • Carefully Operates Forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Delivers orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.

What We Need From You:

  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; strongly prefer at least 1 year of related warehouse, material handler, forklift operation, distribution and delivery experience. RF gun experience and Box or Dually Truck experience is strongly preferred.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge and experience.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Medical Certificate/Health Card following Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations. Valid Driver's License.
  • Location: You must live within a reasonable distance from the Distribution Center. This job is NOT remote and requires you to enter the center every workday.
  • Physical Ability: You must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform functions such as crouching, kneeling, and balancing.
