Seattle Family With two Awesome Daughters

About the Job

We are hoping to find a kind, independent and creative nanny to help care for our 5 and 10-year-old daughters in NE Seattle with ideally 3 or more years experience. Our 10-year-old has Type 1 diabetes and is mostly independent with managing it, but we will arrange education for our new nanny. The kids will be busy this summer with needing to get to some different camps around Seattle, visiting our neighborhood pool and exploring the nearby parks. We will guarantee at least 36 hours of pay every week, though there will often be large gaps of free time between school/camp drop off and pickup. During some school breaks, we will need more assistance. Both parents work remotely and can really use help with getting school bags/lunches packed and unpacked, homework completed and independent development of activities to explore around Seattle or projects for the girls to do at home. For our previous nannies, we have provided a healthcare stipend, covered mileage and paid holidays, as well, and use a payroll service with timely, twice-monthly pay. We would like to target a July 1 start date, but potentially would also consider a day or two of onboarding while overlapping with our departing nanny at the end of June.
