Human Resources Manager in Baton Rouge, LA
Responsible for managing all aspects of a comprehensive HR program
Supervising HR staff, overseeing HR functions, and managing benefits

Responsibilities
• Manage and evaluate the work of HR staff
• Oversee all HR functions including employee administration, payroll, training, and benefits
• Develop and revise HR policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with HR rules, regulations, and laws
• Handle confidential matters with professionalism
• Supervise and refine employee standards in the HR office
• Conduct audits and maintain internal records to ensure compliance
• Manage projects and develop new performance indicators
• Counsel employees and advise on HR policies and procedures
• Oversee classification and compensation, employee relations, and workers' compensation
Requirements
• Baccalaureate degree plus four years of HR experience (or equivalent substitutions)
• Experience in managing a comprehensive HR program
• Knowledge of HR rules, regulations, and laws
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Experience in supervising and evaluating employees
• Knowledge of benefits programs and retirement systems
• Proficiency in HR information systems
