Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interacts positively with co-workers and keeps their immediate supervisor informed at all times
• Upholds the privacy and confidentiality of records and information under their control

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Carries out sales transactions, undertakes regular cleaning chores, sets-up shop displays and showcases products in a visually appealing manner
• The goal is to assist customers in their shopping experience by providing outstanding customer service
• Offers valuable insights to management regarding all products, inventory shortages, scanner inaccuracies, and other matters of concern
• Collaborates in conducting store inventory counts as per the recommended procedures and keeping a check on inventory accuracy
• Following established cash policies and procedures is essential to mitigating the occurrence of monetary deficits

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Providing customers with fresh and high-quality products thanks to diligent shelf-stocking and rotation
• By adhering to a predetermined merchandising planogram, effective and visually stimulating product displays can be created with ease
• Structurally organizing new products and getting rid of empty boxes by breaking them down is an indispensable duty
• Safe and efficient use of machinery is crucial in accomplishing the duties associated with this position

Physical Demands:

• The store expects its workers to carry out numerous physical activities that involve sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking
• Stockroom Clerk: Aptitude to transport merchandise from the receiving section to the shelves; proficiency in ordering items, with weights up to 45 pounds, on shelves located at varying heights

Qualifications:

• The minimum age requirement for eligibility is 18 years or more
• The capacity to offer swift and amiable assistance to customers
• Capability to undertake daily cleaning chores to meet the requirements set by the company

• Proficiency in using different types of equipment, including floor scrubbers, electric/manual hand jacks, and cardboard balers, in a safe and effective manner is an indispensable skill for a stocker

Education and Experience:

• Individuals who hold a high school diploma or its corresponding equivalent certificate are the favored candidates
• Those who have worked in retail before are at an advantage in the selection process
• An integration of formal schooling and firsthand involvement resulting in commensurate comprehension
