Design Specialist

HD Media Systems LLc an established and growing AV and Electrical company is looking for a Drawing Specialist/Draftsman.

We specialized in Residential and Commercial Audio/Video Systems, Security & Surveillance, Lighting Control, Home Automation Systems.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively in a team environment, multitask, manage time effectively, and adhere to strict timelines. This role requires a self-starter who is proactive and detail oriented.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to

--The CAD drafter will be responsible for the control and completion of multiple drawing and specification projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, standards, and goals.

--Use of AutoCAD, Canvas, or Bluebeam to perform design/drawing work assigned

--Produce design drawings as per detail given by client/manager

--Perform takeoffs and submittals

--Create As-built shop drawings

--Coordinate with direct sales reps and project management

Job Requirements

--Knowledge of CAD, Canvas, Bluebeam or related software preferred

--Proficient skills with current technology (Word, Excel and estimating/database software)

--Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications sheets required

--Demonstrate an ability to be responsible for completion of tasks with minimal supervision

--Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
