• Production work in the produce/floral department involves the cutting and preparation of fruits and vegetables for use in pre-packaged meals, salad bars, and other food items
• By offering counter service and oven-ready prep, retailers are able to cater to the busy lifestyles of consumers who want healthy, delicious seafood options but may not have the time or expertise to prepare it themselves
• A pub is a place where people can come together to socialize, have a drink, and enjoy good food. Many pubs have a cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes customers feel at home

Customer service, restocking, and sanitation are the duties that team members of Whole Foods Market Retail are required to perform in their assigned department(s). Responsibilities:

• A significant qualification for this job is the capability to work a flexible schedule, which includes nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the requirements of the job.
• Executes responsibilities for the initial, middle, and final stages of an assignment as directed.
• Obeys the department's procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, and displaying products.
• Preparing retail merchandise for sale involves a meticulous process, including packaging, weighing and pricing, to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• We take strict measures in monitoring product quality and freshness, making sure they meet our rigorous standards. Proper rotation is also enforced to maximize efficiency.
• Ensures that cases and shelves are well-stocked and sanitary at all times.
• Follows the standard procedure to fill out the spoilage, temperature, and sweep logs and maintains their records.
• Assists with executing intermittent stock assessments.
• Timely presentation at the workstation, neatly groomed, dressed aptly, and ready to undertake tasks; performs all pre-arranged timing and actively attends to necessary coaching and sessions.
• Shows remarkable customer service skills, fulfilling the needs of clients promptly and efficiently, while also demonstrating effective suggestive selling techniques; responds to phone calls and pages promptly and courteously.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• One should be adept at lifting a minimum of 50 pounds for this role.
• The major activity in an 8-hour workday is standing and walking for a period of 6-8 hours.
• Hand Mastery: Singular Grasp, Exacting Movement, Pressing and Drawing.
• The execution of work responsibilities involves utilizing various bodily movements, such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning agents and detergents.
• The consequences of exposure to temperature variations: sub-zero temperatures, temperatures ideal for refrigeration, and temperatures exceeding 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Expertise to handle oneself in moist and/or freezing atmospheres.
• Capability to use an assortment of tools and machines including six-wheel carts, electric pallet jacks, and knives to produce high-quality results.

If new employees complete their first 90 days of employment and continue to work in an eligible position, they may be entitled to a raise in their base pay.
