Solutions Architect

Job Purpose

42Q is looking for a highly motivated Solutions Architect to support large teams who are developing a cutting-edge cloud manufacturing execution system. Nature of Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborating with product development teams to provide a high-level vision of enterprise solutions and development initiatives

  
  

• Understanding and communicating the Enterprise strategy to Developers, Data Analysts, and Product Owners

  
  

• Collecting, generating, and analyzing innovative ideas and technologies to use across the business

  
  

• Prepares large enterprise system development cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.

  
  

• Participating in the strategy for building and maintaining the development platform along with modeling, design, and coding practices

  
  

• Monitors architecture & design creation process and reviews the project artifacts.

  
  

• Promoting Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment processes and DevOps capabilities.

  
  

Knowledge and Skills

• The candidate must have a Bachelor or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field

  
  

• Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise-level systems

  
  

• Strong knowledge of Java or C

  
  

• Strong knowledge of relational database design, and SQL coding are required. PostgreSQL and NoSQL experience is a plus

  
  

• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS

  
  

• Proficiency with GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation techiniques

  
  

• Working in geographically distributed groups and strong communication skills are mandatory. The candidate should also be proactive and responsible.
